Our Mission
Valley Metro Security (VMS) is a leader in the security industry offering a wide variety of protection services. Our mission is to provide our clients with peace of mind in a time of insecurity in a post 9/11 world. At VMS, we strive to provide safety, security, and peace of mind. Our highly trained and motivated staff as well as our management team deliver nothing short of superior customer service. We strive to gain our client’s respect and manage a specific security and life safety plan.
Our History
Valley Metro Security was founded in 2001 by Francisco J. Guerrero and Josanna M. Guerrero. Francisco is a veteran police officer who has served in both Miami, Florida and Hidalgo County, Texas. Additionally, Francisco proudly served his country in the United States Army before relocating to South Texas.
In 2005, VMS expanded by establishing our state-of-the-art training center and 50 foot indoor shooting range. This provides our staff and community with the safety and convenience of the first indoor shooting range in the McAllen – Edinburg area.

Our security staff is made up of highly qualified and dedicated men and women from all over the Rio Grande Valley. At VMS, we consider our employees the foundation of our organization therefore we offer competitive wages/salaries which are above industry standards.
